We interviewed Usman two months after starting his first semester at the Medical University of Plovdiv in Bulgaria. Watch the video here or read his review below. Studying medicine in Bulgaria is an increasingly popular option for international students who would like to pursue their dream of studying medicine abroad. Plovdiv is the oldest city in Bulgaria offering a combination of enriching experiences alongside a world-renowned medical university. Usman reviews Medlink Students and his experience so far.

Hi, I'm Usman Khalid and I'm 18 years old and I study Medicine at Plovdiv Medical University.

The reason why I wanted to study Medicine was that I've always had a passion for Medicine and I've always been interested in exploring the various aspects that Medicine has to offer.

The agency I applied through was MedlinkStudents, and I found MedlinkStudents when me and my mom were doing research for which agencies to apply through, and we felt that MedlinkStudents would be the best agency to apply to, as they seem the most efficient and resourceful.

So, throughout the processes, it seemed like a very streamlined process.
The process first started after results day and it lasted for about a month up until the entrance exam. During this time, MedlinkStudents were very resourceful because they were helping us to keep up updated with all the relevant documents we may need throughout the process. They were making sure that all the documents were accumulated correctly so that the application process would be a lot easier.

Furthermore, building up to the entrance exam, they provided us with numerous amount of resources, which will help contribute to helping us pass the entrance exam and with ease. As well as after the entrance exam, MedlinkStudents played a huge role in helping me to settle into Plovdiv Medical University.

For example, they'll often check upon us to make sure we are doing okay. They were very useful in helping us to settle in. For example, they helped me to find my apartment I'm currently renting, and this was through giving me contact with lots of different estate agents. This helped to make the process a lot easier and helped speed it up.

Furthermore, one important thing MedlinkStudents helped me to do was to help set up my Bulgarian ID, and I know that Bulgarian ID is a very important aspect when you're living in Plovdiv because it's almost a necessary need, you need it for your six-year course.

So, I think it was very good that MedlinkStudents were able to help me through this application process and speed up the process.

Usman: Yeah, for sure. I'd definitely recommend MedlinkStudents to family and friends because not only have they made the process a lot easier, they have essentially helped me to get into a Medical University and help me to pursue my dreams.
