The admission process for medical school can be challenging and incomprehensible for many students. Every university has different entry requirements - many of which will require you to sit a written test in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics. Some may also mandate a motivational letter or a personal medical statement. Youโll most likely be invited to a face-to-face / online interview to evaluate your passion for studying medicine.
The only universal requirement for admission to medical school in Europe is English proficiency, as the courses for international students are fully taught in English. After all, universities want to be sure that you can effectively communicate with your teachers, classmates, and patients during clinical rotations.
How to Study Medicine in Europe Without Entrance Exam
Itโs important to remember that just because a school doesnโt have an entrance exam doesnโt mean there arenโt other requirements that need to be kept and adhered to. As mentioned above, youโll need to prove your proficiency in English to study at a European school, with or without an entrance exam. While you might skip the test in Biology or Chemistry, if English isnโt your native language, youโll need to pass an English proficiency test like IELTS before you can be accepted. This is a universal requirement for all medical universities teaching in English.
In addition, nearly all medical schools that teach medicine in English also have interviews they conduct with their students. Most commonly, this is done via Skype, WhatsApp, or another online service that supports calls (rather than in-person due to the distance involved). While itโs not a test, the teachers will examine your knowledge, character, and motivations to ensure youโre truly dedicated to becoming a doctor. They may ask you questions about science that are relevant to your previous education. Still, they most often will ask about why you want to be a doctor, how you set your priorities, how you handle extreme stress and other similar questions. While they may seem a little annoying, theyโre an important step in getting your medical education off the ground.

Why This Matters for You
Understanding that you have the option to enrol in a high-quality medical programme without having to take an entrance exam can allow you to focus on truly preparing for your medical education rather than cramming information for a test. Here are the top advantages that come with going for this option:
Reduced stress: Entrance exams can be incredibly stressful and intimidating, and many students donโt manage to perform well under pressure. Avoiding this can not only be great for your mental health, but it will allow you to show your strengths through a more hollistic admission approach.
Simplified admissions: The universities on this list accept students based on high school grades and English proficiency. This simplified path to medical education opens doors to capable prospective students rather than closing them.

Hello
This is Youngeun kim.
Iโm really interested in your medicine program starting from 2023.
Until now, I am studying alone to get into your university, especially medical in English courses.
I found this program just now, thatโs my fault because I didnโt know this at all.
Fortunately, iโm ready to submit my secondary school certificate, I got English score. Iโm satisfied with your schoolโs entrance conditions. For me, visa doesnโt matter at all. I can handle the problem as soon as possible.
If you donโt mind, or if you have a In-campus program seat starting from this year,
Could you let me know how can i apply your program? or Availability of entrance in Rumaniaโs University especially without entrance exam?
I found one university to meet my condition named University of ARAD.
I donโt want to miss this yearโs opportunity.
Plus, I can afford to lump sum payment about tuition fee, not monthly installment plan.
Warm regards,
Youngeun kim
